killer heels.. NO

I dont really wear flat let alone own a lot of them.. for 27 years of living in this world.. I think I have not more than 5 flat in my collection. (inclusive of sport shoes and sneakers)

until a year ago, before I went to aussie. someone insist that I should get a flat coz we will do a lot of walking and heels is a BIG NO though I swear I can walk whole day in a comfy heels.

I already have a sneakers but I dont quite like them. and that sneakers, I bought it 3 years ago for my trip to Finland (see, I only buy flat when I need to go somewhere and after the trip it will be well kept in my shoe cabinet unattended).and the reason I dont like that sneakers coz I could get a very bad blister when I wear them (weird, I know).

and so for that above reason, I was busy looking high and low for a pair of flat shoes that I would like and comfy at the same time and doesnt add 10 years to my age when I'm on them.. and decided to buy this..

it wasnt a bad choice after all. it's light that I dont feel like wearing them..but still I get a blister (but minor).


and just recently when I browse through to get another pair for my next year trip. I came across this

it's 30% if you purchase above 300 in a single receipt. Oh boy. how can I resist that temptation and so I drag along my sisters and 3 of us get ourselves a pair each (the benefit of having a lots of siblings). and this is what i've got for myself

in espresso. and being a good daughter, I get my dad a pair too..

Until now, I still cant believe that I fall for crocs coz I personally thinks that crocs is a little overprice for their shoes.

who said mega sales only happen in shopping complex. it also happen at myeg this time.

yeah, 50% off for those who pay their summons before fifteen this month.

and for people like me.. who have 858 worth of summons, this is really too good to be true. though 50% from that amount is still a lot. bet better than nothing right..

Initially i'm aiming to get myself a coach bag, the sling bag, a reward for myself after all the hard work (well not really that hard though :P) but with the government setting up a new rules (you dont pay your summons you dont get to renew your road tax thingy). i have to with a heavy heart pay it all. Sigh!

from now on.. i vow to follow all the traffic rules especially the speed limit!

Hoping that i have enough point on my credit card now so that i could cash it out to get my bag still :)

Red is the new chocolate

Have i tell you that i love baking than cooking.

Simply because baking is a lot easier than cooking and how bad can a cake/muffin/cookies goes compared to curry. isn't it?

the things that i really want to learn how to bake next is the red velvet cake. Its amazingly delicious!! Like really awesomely super delicious.

or maybe just because i'm bored with cheese, tiramisu and choc moist cake already. so the new option to go for is red velvet.

Boy, I'm craving for red velvet cup cake from delicious. Anybody want to have a cake with me??

I finally get one after a very looooong discussion with him. and he agreed to help me pay some amount of money for that purpose. That is very generous of you my dear.

 

i've got that from maxis. I actually pay full amount for the phone and pay 360rm for one year unlimited access data plan. Isn't that such a good deal people? 

But seriously i am not satisfied with the maxis center, the gardens services. Sucks with the capital S.  They are very slow and impolite too. I do not want to talk about this. I've waited until 9.45 for my turn with empty stomach. and been ask to come back again for the phone configuration. i almost lost my temper but for the sake of not making any scene. I control myself. 

At first i wanted to go shu eumura to get a gel cream while waiting for my number. but the person there told me. if i missed my number, i have to queue again and they stop distributing the number at 9.30. okay.. fair enough.

After been ask to come back again the next day, I walk back to mid valley as i park my car there, dengan muka tak bermaya. all the shops already close. but to my surprise, shu eumura still open. Yes!!!  i walk in and keep on reminding myself that i will only buy gel cream and only gel cream. No matter what promotion they have. 

the sales person told me, that if i buy above 350, i will get a 7 pieces of travelling kit and also 1 facial session or a photograph (gambar ala2 model yang diorang selalu amik tu). I have no choice but to tell her that " it's really tempting, but i have to stick on my budget as i just bought the phone" 

On the counter, while she prepare the bill for me, the manager said to her "wahh, you still got sales at this hour?". It's already 10.20 at that time. and she reply "Oh, she's my customer, she brought her friend here and buy stuff from me and she'll coming back again". The manager then ask me why didnt i buy more stuff as they have promotion now. Before i manage to answer, the girl answer her for me. "Oh.. she didnt have money this month. She just bought herself a phone and pointing at my maxis paper bag."

and guess what people. The manager said.. then just giver her everything la. since she's ur customer and she still buying from you at this hours!! and you can come for the photoshoot and after that relax2 doing facial.

Oh my, rasa macam nak melompat dekat situ. Seriously. After all i had gone through in Maxis, there is still kind hearted people out there. 

No la, not that i want free stuff, but if you work at the service department, kenapa nak kerek2 bila orang tanya soalan. dah memang kerja awak tu menjawab soalan. kalau orang tau. orang tak tanya!!

so tomorrow, i'll be going for my facial and also tangkap gambar. Eh malu la nak tangkap2 gambar macam tu. Boleh tak kalau tak mahu.

When you get something enexpectedly...

You feel happy!! Don't you?

Like last few weeks, when i was expecting to receive a jaya jusco voucher. and turn out that it is metrojaya voucher. i feel so happy. Coz seriously, i didn't know what to buy in jaya jusco with that 300 voucher.

went to mid valley and caught my eye on something in metrojaya. the price of the thing is more than my voucher price. but come to think about it. I just need to pay a little bit extra and i will get something that i will never buy using my own money for now. Oh yes!! i'm not that rich nor that i have a rich husband or boyfriend just yet (but we will soon. Amiiiinnnn), so to buy that something using my own money, will require me to think twice or more than just twice.

decided and off to the counter to pay for that something. and guess what, for every 300 and above purchase, you will get 50 ringgit voucher. I only know abt it when i queue to pay for my stuff.

and now i still left with 50 ringgit voucher. That is what i call shopping!!

Scarf

Kadang2 tak tahu macam mana nak pakai tudung. Im not really good when it comes to how to wear scarf kena dengan baju yang dipakai. Haih.. sometimes lebih senang kalau tak pakai tudung. Hikhikhik...(Adalah orang nak komen lepas baca statement ni nanti)

i have this. Wrap cardigan.
but the moment i put my scarf on. I look just like a lawyer...

So.. how should i wear my scarf without looking like a lawyer who just lost her case :P

I love to see my nail like this. All shiny and clean. I don't think i can afford to have this regularly. Not even once a month, i think. perhaps once in a blue moon? This is actually a treat for myself before the exam start. With the hope that, I'll be more focus on my books after having the nail treatment. :)

Another good thing about having an exam is, i can use it as an excuses to treat myself with everything i want without feeling guilty. like for example lepaking in Starbucks for the whole day, back to back. Simply because i will fall asleep when i study in my room. I need caffeine to keep me awake!! Haha.

Still.. i hate exams!!

Damage

Remember, i said i want to change my room to something like this.

It doesnt turn out to be exactly like that, but at least the color of my furniture and wall is the same as shown in the picture.

It still not complete yet. Still working on the deco. I'm looking for a black and white table lamp to match with my wall lamp and the mini hi-fi. I found one, but it's waaay beyond my budget.

Total damage to my pocket: I can actually travel 2 times to Aussie with that money (all inclusive - flight ticket, accomodation and pocket money for 2 weeks stay). Looking at the bright side, at least, it gives a good feeling everytime I enter my room after having a long day in office, class and massive traffic.

p/s: I deserve a pat on my back, i did everything by myself, from choosing a furniture to paint job and almost everything else including moving out my old furniture though. And mind you, it's hundred percent my pocket money.

everything is already in place.. the chest of drawers doesn't match with the theme color. But i need it badly to stuff all of my bedsheets. and to get a new one with black solid wood will cost me another 500 rm at least (that is, i have to go hunt around in order to get that price). So for now. I can live with it.

Girls Weekend Out

Bercuti beramai2 adalah sangat seronok terutama dengan kehadiran kamera canggih (namely dslr ape tah sehingga saya malu nak mengambil gambar dengan kamera saya, tapi kamera saya ada function untuk snap banyak2 dan boleh bergambar ala ala model, jakun jugak diorang dengan kamera saya) adalah sangat menyeronokkan.

Yer saya jakun dengan kamera izza, dan menyebabkan saya berpura2 menyuruh mereka tangkap gambar saya yang konon2 tengah snap gambar (ohhh.. sangat jakun okay). Jangan gelakkan kejakunan saya.

Ada gaya photographer tak?

Walaupon tak puas mandi kerana hari pertama hujan dan kemudian kami busy melihat entertainment gadis2 manis yang menjerit meminta tolong kerana takutkan arus sungai yang mengalir deras (tapi mungkin menggunakan ketakutan untuk peluang berpegang tangan dengan abang handsome yang sedia memberi khidmat membantu anda apabila terdengar jeritan)

dan hari kedua diganggu oleh manusia2 gatal yang mengambil kesempatan untuk melihat anak2 dara mandi (ishhh sungguh menyakitkan hati)

Tapi memang air terjun kat situ best, tak tipu! dan sejuk juga.. sehingga memerlukan 30 minit untuk saya warm up (untuk membiasakan diri dengan suhu air yang sejuk) dan bila badan dah boleh terima kesejukan dan mula seronok untuk mengapungkan2 badan dan berenang renang seperti ikan. Dah tiba masa tuk pulang ke chalet pula.

Sesi pillow talk juga agak menarik. Kalo dulu masa sekolah, topik pillow talk lebih kepada masalah kanak2, sekarang ni topik lebih matang dan lebih kepada soal masa depan. Hahahahaha... dan lepas tu tertido beramai2 depan tv.. (konon la nak tgk tv sangat kan)

Terimalah aksi2 kami di Kalumpang untuk tontonan umum. Maaf, aksi2 dalam air tidak dapat dipaparkan kerana telah disekat oleh badan2 berkanun sebagai 18SX. (go and get wild with ur imagination people)

Please do not disturb

Yay!! This weekend will be a marathon-for-TV-series-weekend. I'm so going to pull an all-nighter Friday night.... and Saturday night too?

I just got OTH, Gossip Girl, Heroes, and a lot other movies from Gabriel (Gabriel adalah source untuk mendapatkan movies dan series secara illegal dan percuma)

It's time to date Chad Michael Murray again, when I watch him in this series, it reminds me of someone that is very close to me. Both of them have a lot of similarities when it comes to decision making. Adalah terlalu sangat amatlah indecisive. But I'm excited coz he's going to marry Peyton in this season. Finally!!

And boleh bergosip dengan Serena. XOXO.

Oh, I have wedding to attend this Saturday. Saya kadang2 rasa lost bila ada wedding so called gathering budak2 sekolah. I am not a good friends so dah tak terupdate dengan kehidupan mereka. And another thing, camner nak avoid soalan2 "Ko tu biler nak kawin?" I bet at least 10 kali lah orang akan tanya saya soalan ni.

Depressed

I've been feeling downhearted for the past few days. Totally depressed due to reasons I'd rather keep to myself for the time being.

So what did I do to overcome this? I do what I do best. I shop.

Retail therapy works best, don't you agree?

What's inside the bag? A slim fit jeans that I've been dying for and the moment my eyes spot it, my heart couldn't be more agree that I have to buy it. This jeans is sooooo going to be my favorite one. It makes my leg look slimmer. There's also a top to go with the jeans.

A pair of shoes, not a killing heel (like I alwasy like) but this one is something that he like to see me wearing it.

Not in the picture is my sports bra (I'm back to my gym routine so no question why I bought it) and scarf from tie rack.

There's this shoes from ALDO that I fall in love with, but they only have the last pair which is on the display for my size (so I don't buy it, which technically save my pocket)

Other thing that caught my eyes, an oversize clutch from eclipse which Azlan stops me from buying. He said and I quote "it would be just one of the impulse buying. Trust me you wouldn't find the right event to use it plus your hand is too small for such a big clutch". He then starts to remind me with all the stuff that I have been buying but stuck in my closet.

But seriously, I'm still thinking of that clutch. Oh, come on, oversize clutch is so in, rite people? And I can always wear it like... anytime that I want to.



It still doesn't fix whatever it was made me blue in the first place but at least I have a great distraction.

How much damage to my pocket? Priceless!! I wish I can say that but as a matter of fact. I'm almost broke. That is what shopping does to you so it's to be expected. But I'm doing quite alrite, I guess. I used cash for everything that I've mentioneded above except the one inside MNG bag. But how much cash can I have with me at one time?

Sunway Lagoon. Again?

It's time for sunway lagoon again. Hehe. It's not that I really like the place, but I got two tickets for free. So, why waste? It's a bit different this time. Coz we spent most of our time laid on the bench rather than play. Before we go there, I actually told him that I'm not going to get myself on the roller coaster, tomahawk and what not (all the extreme game by my definition). Boring me, I know. I'm just scared and what can I do about it? But that makes me, ME!

What surprise me is Azlan, I thought he will be fine with the not so extreme (again by my definition). But I guess he is not. When I ask why he don't want to play again after the first round. He said it is not adventurous at all. Dear, I really really really want to believe what you said but deep down I know you are just scared. Blek :P. It's okie your secret save with me. I won't tell anybody. Ooops I just did.

We still had a lot of fun even we don't play that much. We went on the weekdays, so not many people there. Yerp, di saat sumer orang sibuk bekerja, kami berehat rehat di tepi pantai (buatan manusia la tapi)

We wrap up the day with dinner at Tony Roma's, Sunway Pyramid. Sat by the window with the view of Sunway Lagoon theme park, Oh my! My shrimp pasta just tastes a lot better that evening. Hehe. I wonder why

In need for a new handbag!!

I am in need for a new handbag and have already started to hunt around. I came across this at Nine West mid valley and really fall in love with this satchel. The only thing that makes me stop and think over is the material. Kain biasa jer. It's white, which can be easily get dirty and kain biasa? Don't you think that it's too hard to maintain?

p/s: Boon come over to my place just now and told me that "hey membazir la and the bag is very ugly". Anybody agree with him?

P/S: I Love You

I bet a lot of people out there have already read this book. Yes, for people who are not after serious reading (eg: three cups of tea. Hehehe) will definitely have this as one of their collection.

I just have chance to watch the movie last 2 week. I’ve been looking for the movie for so long and almost jump out of my seat when my sister told me that she finally got the cd. This entry is meant to share my personal opinion about the movie vs the book.

Starring Hillary Swank and Gerald Butler, it started off with the argument between Holly and Gerry which I have to say is the bad way of starting this movie. Yeah!! The plot is quite different which makes the movie not as good as compared to the book. Hillary Swank character does not really suit Holly as the way Cecilia Ahern (the author of the book) described her while Gerald Butler acting should certainly be commended. If only this kind of guy exist in this world!! I don’t mind if I have to be a second wife :P

I still remember the part when Gerry plans for Holly's vacation with her friends. Imagine if your husband is really sick, counting his last days living in this world and yet still planning for something that can piece your life back together after he died. How thoughtful is that!! I can feel Holly’s emotion and cried together with her when I read the book but in the movie, I don’t feel anything, not even touched.

To conclude the movie is not a must watched romantic movie but the book is definitely a must have. Again this book is not recommended for those who prefer a serious reading.

Glad that I have read the book way before I watched the movie. Otherwise I’m quite sure I will not read it.

Movie day

We went to watch the dark knight on Wednesday. I am not going to give any review or comment on the story. Enough with the movie was awesome!!

Actually we tried last week in Mid Valley. When we reach there, the ticket left is only for the front seat. We ended up watching X-Files. It was okay but get a bit boring in a few plot.

So this time, I do not want to repeat the same mistake again. I purchased the ticket online. The movie started at 6.20, due to the traffic we reached there at 6.30. Of course we make it just on time. Right before the movie start.

Buying the ticket online is really a hassle free!! There is a kiosk next to the pop corn counter where you just need to slot in your credit card and enter your username/ic number to print the ticket. The most important thing is you don’t need to QUEUE. Oh you can also choose your seat when you buy the ticket. In case you worry about that. :)

Retail Therapy

Happily announce of a new member to my collection of shoes which officially join them last nite at 11.05 pm. Its not a peep toe that I’ve been longing for but what caught my eyes is the sexy heel. 3.5”, she’s the tallest of ‘em all.
