cupcake

decided to make a cupcake last week complete with the icing decoration and all. Turn out I fail miserably on the deco..

never really thought that it was that difficult to draw on a cupcake. like really difficult!! already i'm not creative and controlling the cream just worsen the talent.

Should i give up.. or try harder next time?

The moment you start lying, you'll never know when you can stop.. as the title said.. a lie will always lead to another lie.

I've lied to my lecturer a few months back telling him that i was on business trip so that he could cancel and postponed the mid term exam to the following week while I'm actually on my vacation to Langkawi with friends.

Don't judge me just yet, it wasn't entirely my fault as the exam was scheduled a week before my vacation and little that i know that someone was not able to make it during that week and the lecturer has to postponed it to the following week (which is my planned vacation week).

Everything is already set, ticket and hotel booked, itinerary made. All we need is only to fly ourselves there and enjoy the 4 days 3 night stay and the lecturer was about to spoil them all.


So after some discussions with my besties, we come up with this story that i'll be on a business trip for a week.. Lucky that the lecturer buy the story but it is not his decision alone to made so he bring this issue up to other lecturer on how to handle the case. and again I have to lie to them.

After i got back from my vacation, he was busy asking for the trip and some student from the same class was asking me the same question to and i left with no choice but to lie again..

I've bought some chocolates for my closest friend in class who thrown me the business trip idea and when other people ask, where do i buy the chocolate from, they have to lie that it's from somewhere in Europe when it's not.

Even other people have to lie! so not good!!

So people.. don't start it coz sometimes it can't be stop

Shampoo

I post a status on my fb sometimes ago asking if anyone knows a good shampoo for hair fall and thanks to those who kindly response and some are just too kind writing me a lengthy message on how should I overcome it.

I've tried every single thing possible. from washing my hair with tea leaves, hibiscus flower (mind you, this is by far the most difficult flower to find, at least at my housing area), something off the shelf, cocunut oil, olive oil.. etc etc.. You name it.

Nothing solve the problem until my colleague recommend me this shampoo..

its Shikakai shampoo.which contains hibiscus essence, aloe vera and amla..According to her these are the ingredients that most Indian use on their hair .. I decided to give it a try because just look at their hair, don't you think that theirs is the thickest ever?

The smells is like terribly strong that it stick to my hair as if I never wash them but who cares if that's the price that I have to pay, aye? Few times that my sister complaints as she couldn't stand the smell everytime I walk pass her especially after taking my shower. To not make the smell too strong, I apply the coconut oil after washing my hair with this shampoo.

Few weeks after that, i start seeing the result. my hair does not fall anymore or I should say fall lesser and come months, it literally stop falling. Yay..

and just when i thought that its the end of my quest in looking for the perfect shampoo, my hair starts to fall again like nobody's business right after I do the rebonding.


and now it's worse than before. it feels like everything is falling that everytime when my niece play with my hair.. it feel like she ripping off my hair...

would it be the effect of rebonding, or it's about time to find the expert. What say you to Yun Nam hair care?

killer heels.. NO

I dont really wear flat let alone own a lot of them.. for 27 years of living in this world.. I think I have not more than 5 flat in my collection. (inclusive of sport shoes and sneakers)

until a year ago, before I went to aussie. someone insist that I should get a flat coz we will do a lot of walking and heels is a BIG NO though I swear I can walk whole day in a comfy heels.

I already have a sneakers but I dont quite like them. and that sneakers, I bought it 3 years ago for my trip to Finland (see, I only buy flat when I need to go somewhere and after the trip it will be well kept in my shoe cabinet unattended).and the reason I dont like that sneakers coz I could get a very bad blister when I wear them (weird, I know).

and so for that above reason, I was busy looking high and low for a pair of flat shoes that I would like and comfy at the same time and doesnt add 10 years to my age when I'm on them.. and decided to buy this..

it wasnt a bad choice after all. it's light that I dont feel like wearing them..but still I get a blister (but minor).


and just recently when I browse through to get another pair for my next year trip. I came across this

it's 30% if you purchase above 300 in a single receipt. Oh boy. how can I resist that temptation and so I drag along my sisters and 3 of us get ourselves a pair each (the benefit of having a lots of siblings). and this is what i've got for myself

in espresso. and being a good daughter, I get my dad a pair too..

Until now, I still cant believe that I fall for crocs coz I personally thinks that crocs is a little overprice for their shoes.

who said mega sales only happen in shopping complex. it also happen at myeg this time.

yeah, 50% off for those who pay their summons before fifteen this month.

and for people like me.. who have 858 worth of summons, this is really too good to be true. though 50% from that amount is still a lot. bet better than nothing right..

Initially i'm aiming to get myself a coach bag, the sling bag, a reward for myself after all the hard work (well not really that hard though :P) but with the government setting up a new rules (you dont pay your summons you dont get to renew your road tax thingy). i have to with a heavy heart pay it all. Sigh!

from now on.. i vow to follow all the traffic rules especially the speed limit!

Hoping that i have enough point on my credit card now so that i could cash it out to get my bag still :)

Red is the new chocolate

Have i tell you that i love baking than cooking.

Simply because baking is a lot easier than cooking and how bad can a cake/muffin/cookies goes compared to curry. isn't it?

the things that i really want to learn how to bake next is the red velvet cake. Its amazingly delicious!! Like really awesomely super delicious.

or maybe just because i'm bored with cheese, tiramisu and choc moist cake already. so the new option to go for is red velvet.

Boy, I'm craving for red velvet cup cake from delicious. Anybody want to have a cake with me??

i dont know when will it get done. The baju was plan to be wear during Hari Raya to someones house.. but since im not visiting them last raya, the mood to do it is just not there anymore.

But anyway, i've completed both of my sisters baju. not bad huh, for beginner like me

Life

I was looking forward for the day when i could come home without having to look at my assignment or books to read. Now that the day comes, it feels like my life is a little bit empty, losing its direction and... boring i should say.

Darn, i miss that toffee nut latte, but drinking it would make me awake whole night and i do not need it now right.

but the best part i would have to say is...

i go to bed like at 10 everyday people.. isn't that heaven? don't you think? and never that i feel sleepy anymore during working hours.

i miss screaming all the news to you.

I forgot how fun it was to read back whatever I've written here.

i want to be actively blogging again.

but i know, as soon as the class starts..

little things will be left unattended again
